About the City Hall Poet: Fall 2025.

Johnny Byutorie (he/him/they) is a multidisciplinary author whose works have been published in the Hog Creek Review (during his tenure at The Ohio State University), North Meridian Review, Cardinal Arts Journal, and FUCKUS literary journals as well as a reader for Gigantic Sequins and Grey Coven Publishing. He has completed his Master of Arts degree in English at the end of 2024 and has a love of horror and its gradual rise as a genre worth serious literary consideration. His many influences include Pullman, Pratchett, Peele, Jemisin, Jackson, and Mothman.
